Through our collaboration with Dr. Nadja Jiresch, Department of Spinal Surgery at the mza Medical Center Vienna, our ergonomic, height-adjustable carrying system for school bags was checked according to all the required criteria. Using a wide variety of test procedures, the carrying system was tested for function and material quality and met all aspects of back ergonomics.

The most important criterion was the individual back length adjustment so that the school bag can be adjusted to the child's correct height, posture and weight.

Furthermore, the results from our Toolbag Plus showed that this model ensures optimal weight distribution thanks to its particular stability.

In addition, the ergonomics of the back is supported by the padded hip and chest strap, so that the lumbar strain is relieved and a hollow back can be prevented.

This is how it works:

1. Individual height-adjustable back adjustment - prevents poor posture and misalignment of the spine.

2. Tighten the shoulder straps so that the top edge of the school bag is at shoulder height.

3. Adjust and fix the chest strap individually to the size of the child - prevents the shoulder straps from slipping.

4. Fix the breathable and padded hip belt on the pelvis - prevents pain in the lumbar region.

5. Tighten the layer adjustment straps to individually adjust the shoulder straps to the back.
